Privacy Policy
Irish Celtic Jewels do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
Secure Shopping
On our site we have installed SSL – this stands for Secure Sockets Layer, and it is the industry standard method for protecting web communications developed by Netscape Communications Corporation. The SSL security protocol provides data encryption, server authentication, message integrity, and optional client authentication for a TCP/IP connection.
You will see as you go through our order process that you are buying on a secure site. This means your privacy is protected and your credit card details are encrypted through the ordering process. You should see a small key (Netscape) or lock (Internet Explorer) indicating that your browser is communicating securely with our web store.
Payment
All prices are displayed in U.S dollar currency and payment is made in the U.S dollar currency. Payment on the site is by credit card – Visa or MasterCard. If you are uneasy about sending your credit card details online, please email us at leighm@irishcelticjewels.com, send us your contact details and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
All EU customers will have 23% added to the price of their goods during the ordering process. No duties will be charged upon arrival of your package.
Any shipments made within the US will not be liable for duties or sales tax.
Shipments outside the Europe / US may be liable for duties. Please check with your countries customs for details.
If your local currency is not US dollars, please be aware that Visa and MasterCard generally charge a 1% spread above their wholesale exchange rate i.e. the rates you might see on a currency converter website.
Some card-issuing banks also charge a cross-border fee, typically around 2%.
Returns
At Irish Celtic Jewels all our products are finished according, not only to our own high standards but each piece that we produce is individually tested and hallmarked by the national assay office located in the grounds of Dublin Castle.
If for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, from the receipt of your order.
If you decide to return your order, please email us at leighm@irishcelticjewels.com, detailing your reasons for the return. We will then send you instructions for returning the order. We can only accept returns that follow our return instructions.
The customer is responsible for the cost of returning any goods and the original cost of delivery is non-refundable. If you are returning goods because they are faulty, we will cover the cost of return and any additional shipping cost.
If you choose our free shipping option, and subsequently return your order for a refund, a shipping cost of $5 will be applied. The shipping fee is deducted from the original purchase. Your credit card will be refunded the value of the order minus $5.
Please note: custom orders may not be covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee. The return policy on custom orders will be determined on a case by case basis.
If you purchase from a country that is outside the US and you decide to return your order for a full refund, please be aware of fluctuations in currency. We will refund the full amount paid in US dollars. However, if the currency rate has changed and you receive back less that you paid in your local currency, we cannot take responsibility for any difference in the amount (either positive or negative).
