If you’re looking for some fun and you’re in the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania area, be sure to visit the Celtic Classic Highland Games & Festival.
This exciting, annual special event runs from September 28th to September 30th, 2012, and it features so many enjoyable things to see and do, including live Celtic music, traditional dancing, thrilling Highland Games, and plenty of other family-friendly activities and performances.
Headlining musicians at the festival include (to name just a few) the Barley Boys, Blackwater, and the Jameson Sisters. Fiddle competitions, Highland dancing competitions, and a Haggis-eating competition will add even more entertainment and interactivity to this popular Pennsylvania get-together.
Socialize and make new friends at the festival’s on-site Whisky Tent, and be sure to take a few minutes to watch Border Collies perform during the festival’s live canine exhibition. On Saturday, festival-goers will be able to enjoy the splendor of a colorful Tartan parade.
Traditional food and drink will be available for attendees, and vendors will sell a range of souvenirs to commemorate the occasion.
If you’re of Irish, Scottish or Welsh heritage, visiting the Celtic Classic Highland Games & Festival will be a diverting way to connect with your own Celtic heritage. This affordable event is meant for the whole family.

My name is Keith Kelly and I am the lead singer for The Backseat Hooligans. We are from the York area and we were wondering if you have any need for more bands to play your event? We are an Irish Rock Band and we would be honored to play at your event. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Keith, we don’t have any connection to the festival. We just did a preview of it a few years ago. I’d recommend going over to the festival site and see if you can find a way to contact them directly. The best of luck: https://www.celticfest.org/
