Founded by a group of proud Irish-American Catholics, Ohio’s Riverfront Irish Festival has been going strong for 17 years.
This popular event showcases the very best in traditional Gaelic step dancing, music, and culture.
Located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, this year’s festival is scheduled to begin on June 8th, 2012 and it will run until June 12th, 2012.
Free admission and free parking make this get-together a winner for budget conscious revellers who want to experience the wonders of Ireland up close and personal.
This family-friendly event features plenty of activities for all age groups, so there is truly something for everyone. Highlights of this year’s fun Irish festival include pipe and drum band performances, a lighthearted “kilt contest”, and a 5k “fun run”.
For the grown-ups, traditional Irish ales will be on the menu, and kiddies may enjoy Gaelic treats and snacks while taking in the music, dancing, and general merriment.
