The South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on Sunday March 20 at 1pm from the Broadway ‘T’ Station. The Parade will then end(after great entertainment!) at Andrew Square.
St. Patrick’s Day Parades provide entertainment for all ages alike. Festivities vary from marching bands, bagpipers and dancers to political dignitaries, vehicles, societies and much more. Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the festivities of the day! The event is free for all! Why not come along and join in the fun?
Visit the Official Website for more information.
I see that you have been posting St.Patrick Day parades from all over the country. You missed a BIG one taking place today in Holyoke Massachusetts, the 60th Annual Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade. It is typically a 4 hour event that features marching bands from all over the country and is the SECOND largest in the U.S. after New York City (Bigger than Boston’s!!)
Apologies, missed it on your list of parades on the right side of this page 🙂
Hi Ginny, thanks for that. We’ve posted about so many parades, it’s hard to keep track! We also did a preview of the Holyoke parade. If you were at it, we’d love to hear how it went this year. Here’s the preview post: https://www.irishcelticjewels.com/2011/03/holyoke-st-patricks-day-parade/
