The O’Neill Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Saturday March 19 at 1pm. The Festival will be held from March 17 to 20 in O’Neill, Nebraska. Saturday’s Festivities will commence at 9am with the Shamrock Fun Run Registration, Post Office Station and Book Signing. At 9.30am the Children’s Literature Festival will be held, followed by the Shamrock Fun Run at 10.30am. Both the Mulligan Stew and Reuben’s and BBQs will take place at 11am.
At 12pm Irish and Mumba Dancers will begin entertaining, while the introduction of the Grand Marshall and the Crowning of the King and King will also be held. At 1.30pm a Republican Reception will be hosted followed by the 2 Man Log Sawing Contest at 2pm. The Kids Carnival will be held between 2pm and 4pm and at 5pm a Husker Hoops and Dodgeball Championship will take place. It will be Steak Night in the Eagle Club from 6pm to 9pm. The entertainment for the night will be provided by Manoucheri Trio in the Eagles Club. Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the celebrations!
