The ‘New Dublin'(New London) Irish Festival wil take place from Monday March 14 to Saturday March 19. The Festival’s events will kick off on Monday with Leprechauns changing the town’s name to New Dublin for the week, entertaining kids, visiting the elderly, and appearing at various businesses. Tuesday(Hooligan Day) will see Corned Beef and cabbage being served in various pubs and restaurants throughout the town. Irish Carolling will take place on Wednesday in the Lobby of St. Joesph’s at 5pm. Everyone is welcome in learning the traditional Irish sing-a-longs!
Thursday(St. Patrick’s Day) will provide us with a host of Irish entertainment in the New London High School at 7pm, with everyone welcome. On Friday at 7pm there will be an Irish Céilí at the Crystal Falls Banquet Facility and at 8pm Finnegan’s Wake(a parody of an Irish funeral) will take place at Pup’s Irish Pub. Saturday will host Wisconsin’s Largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 1pm in Downtown New Dublin. The New Dublin Irish Fest will be on from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and will include a wide range of entertainment and food, all in a heated tent by the Festival Foods Parking Lot. Everyone is encouraged to join in in the Festival’s Celebrations!
