The Cleveland Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Thursday March 17 at 1.04pm. The Parade which was founded in 1867 will begin at the corner of Superior Avenue and East 18th Street. It will then finish up at the corner of Rockwell Avenue and East 6th Street.
St. Patrick’s Day Parades provide entertainment for all ages alike. Festivities vary from marching bands, bagpipers and dancers to political dignitaries, vehicles, societies and much more. The Parade Grand Marshall for 2011 is Gerry Quinn. The Parade will include over 125 units and 10,000 participants in the March Order. It is even being aired on television! Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the festivities of the day!
