The spirit of Saint Patrick comes to life this March 6th, 2011, when New Jersey natives honor their Irish ancestry at the Belmar Saint Patrick’s Day Parade.
This exciting Jersey Shore event has been bringing proud Irish-Americans together since 1974!
Known as the “Irish Riviera”, the Belmar-Lake Como region is the perfect backdrop for pipers, marching bands, dancers, and so much more.
Thousands of people take part in this exciting parade each year. Since its inception in the early Seventies, it’s grown to become one of the most anticipated events in the area.
Celebrate your Irish heritage by watching this vibrant parade! Scheduled for March 6th, this year’s Belmar Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is dedicated to the memory of Thomas Murphy and Jim Mooney.
Fundraising events will also be held in the days leading up to the big event. For a small ten dollar donation, you’ll be able to enjoy hot and cold buffets with other Irish-Americans. For more information on this festive celebrations, visit the Belmar Irish festival website.
